Animals have been part of Barbara Reed's life since she was a child - dogs and horses, now cats. Her deep and lifelong love of animals have borne a passionate commitment to give back to animals what they have always offered her - love, understanding, and even life lessons.
Barbara started her quest to develop her animal communication skills many years ago when she had a deep sense of "knowing" that her gifts arise in the area of animal communication. This was further reinforced when she heard her beloved cat, Teddi, thank her for doing some healing energy work on her. Soon after, Barbara started working with teachers in the Bay Area and Northern California, deepening and refining her skills. She then started formal training in energy medicine at the Academy of Intuition Medicine®, Sausalito, CA where she earned her MIM, Masters in Intuition Medicine. After finishing her masters she remained at the Academy for two years as a Teaching Assistant, helping new students develop and deepen their intuitive skills.
As an animal communicator Barbara has been working with clients throughout the United States and internationally for approximately 10 years. During that time she has had the opportunity to work with many species, from dogs and cats to camels and mountain lions.
Barbara has a complex and dynamic background that combines thirty years in the business world, as a senior manager. She has observed much of human nature working with her staff from an open, intuitive place. In addition, life experiences have provided a deep understanding of people and the trials and tribulations of life. These combined experiences helped her to understand and translate to clients how their energy manifests in the every day world, and how this manifestation directly affects them. With this deep understanding Barbara then helps her clients in facilitating their own healing, and in relationship to their animals.
